What’s SUP?

Standup paddling is the world’s fastest growing watersport and some say it will be bigger than windsurfing and kiteboarding put together!

People like Lance Armstrong, Matthew McConaughey, Julia Roberts, Kate Hudson, and Jennifer Aniston, are all into standup paddleboarding and many more people from all walks of life are discovering it every day.

Here are just some the things that make it attractive to a very wide range of people:

Easy to learn – on the right board, just about anyone can get on and start having fun right away. Kids love it and it’s an excellent way to get them away from the video games.

Great exercise – it works an amazing number of muscles in the body. Legs, shoulders, arms, stomach and more. After a long day of paddling you are tired all over, not just in specific areas.

Do it anywhere – it’s fun in flat water and in waves. Lakes, rivers, oceans, and even small ponds are fun for training.

Requires no gas, and the board is an investment that will last for many years — nothing to wear out.

Many disciplines - racing, touring, wave-riding, white-water rapids, and freestyle just to name a few.

Target market -  windsurfers, kiteboarders, kayakers, canoe paddlers, surfers, and fitness enthusiasts - it’s much more fun than going to the gym.

FREE lessons and demos.

Summer 2010, I'll be demoing boards at the beaches around New Brunswick, and a various triathlons in the province.

We also carry some windsurfing gear such as Sailworks Sails and Dakine Accessories.
