Once again, we will be celebrating our annual "Women's Sunday" this Lord's Day, May 9, 2010. We know that this Sunday is also called "Mother's Day," but we believe that all women need to be honored on this occasion, those who are mothers as well as those who are not. So, we're gong to be giving away a small gift to every woman who attends one of our Sunday Worship services (8:30 AM, 11:00 AM, or 6:30 PM). We want each woman who attends to know that she is special, and that we appreciate her! Also, we will have copies of Pastor Charles' booklet "Thank God for Women" available in the narthex for anyone (male or female) to take. In addition, Pastor Charles will be back in the pulpit (after what we hope was a restful and relaxing vacation week with Sandra) to bring us a message entitled "Thank God for Women" at both our 8:30 AM and 11:00 AM Worship services. |
