Please remember the upcoming events of "Easter Weekend", April 2-4, 2010
Without Easter (or "Resurrection Sunday", as many like to call it), nothing else really matters - the Virgin Birth, the sinless life of our Lord Jesus, His death on the Cross, etc. Because the fact that Jesus ROSE FROM THE DEAD was God's final "Stamp of Approval" on the sacrifice of Jesus for our sins! As Paul said, in I Corinthians 15:14 (NASB), ". . . if Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is vain, your faith also is vain."
But, as well all know and believe, Jesus DID rise from the dead, and the weekend of April 2-4 we're celebrating that long-ago triumphant victory over sin and death. We'll have our annual North Hollywood Church Alliance "Good Friday Service" at 7PM on Friday evening, April 2, at the Holy Trinity Armenian Church (located at 11960 Victory Blvd, 2 blocks east of Laurel Canyon). One of the key elements of the program that evening will be the beautiful moving drama/music presentation that Faith Celebration Fellowship did at our church last year.
