We have now completed the event and although only 44 Fronteras made the attempt we now hold this as a record. The Record is:- "Longest parade of same marque vehicles (Vauxhall)" We wanted to raise a considerable amount of cash for charity and show the public that 4x4's are not just gas guzzling planet destroyers. A lot of our members are members of the national 4x4 response service,assisting the emergency services in times of crisis where normal vehicles are not practical, The top 5 charities as voted by the site members are:- CANCER RESEARCH NSPCC including CHILDLINE RSPCA RNLI MACMILLAN APPEAL These 5 charities will receive an equal share of 50% of all monies raised from the GWRA. The remaining 50% will be divided equally between the remaining nominated charities.: HEARTLINE BRITISH HEART FOUNDATION ROYAL NATIONAL INSTITUTE FOR DEAF PEOPLE CURE LEUKAEMIA ALDERHEY ONCOLOGY BREAST CANCER RESEARCH ANTHONY NOLAN TRUST CHILDREN IN NEED CHILDREN WITH LEUKAEMIA We are currently counting how much we raised and we will post more details when we get them. .
