We may just be lifting our heads above the parapet after the Xmas do, but Sunday (10am Stansfield) sees the Xmas Handicap, for which fancy dress is optional. It's an undulating 3.75 mile road outing. It will be my last organised effort at the club. Do please let me know if you intend to run, so I can work out your handicap - you set off at different times but all finish together...

On the subject of mutual support, maybe Tony Brayshaw thinks the club coach should get up off his backside and run a bit better in the Winter League. Certainly he wants us both to do the 3 peaks fell race in April, and thinks others might be interested. He made me do 8 miles in the evening on the same day as an XC race?! Well it's a start... Now it seems Tim is interested...! Xmas things!
The Xmas lights runs are next, with Davina leading Wednesday and me on Thursday Windermere Marathon 2009 Lurking somewhere in my house is a flyer for this event, which I think is 17 May. Firstly I realised we have a potential men's team. Then I discovered Ana is doing the 10 in 10 challenge. In 10 days she will run the course 10 times, finishing with the Open marathon race.
