Oh God! I'm three behind since Christmas. That isn't very good. I'm going to give it a rest a while I think. I don't want to leave Jose in the clink forever though; that wouldn't be very nice. Sorry!

 

28th of January

I would usually be putting up the new cartoon around now - but I can't because I've spent all evening watching the first half of the best film I've seen in the cinema - War and Peace (1967). It's almost too good. The thing is, I'm going to be spending all of tomorrow evening doing the same thing, so forgive me if the Frog and Rabbit isn't up until Wednesday evening. If there is anyone out there, that is. xxx

21st of January

I just saw No Country For Old Men, and I thought it was great. Why am I telling you this? I'm not really sure. By the way, if this strip doesn't make much sense, it might over the coming weeks. I'm thinking of doing an extended riff on pro-active, one of my most disliked words. It won't be funny, but by golly, it's going to give me emotional release.

Ah, well. What can you say? I dunno. This week I have been mainly addicted to www.lifehacker.com I don't know why. It just seems to put this strange, strange world in order.

Happy New Year. I had a great time - which explains why this cartoon is a bit late. Also why it was drawn on the back of a napkin. With a used match. But its amusing, right? Right?

Gosh, where have I been for a quarter of a year? Oh yes. I was being very lazy. The idea is that I'm going to start up again, and do one a week, up on a Monday. That would be a good idea, right? I stopped because I went to Germany. That's my excuse, anway. Please forgive me!

25th of September

An admission to make here - this ones from the ancient vaults of doom - way back in the early 21st century. I chose it because it illustrates an aspect of Jose's character that is often hidden. Because its modestly amusing. And because I haven't done one in time for this week. Whoops!

18th of September

Many apologies - I wasn't planning on doing a cartoon about puke for several more months. Somehow it just seemed appropriate today.

11th of September

September - back to school, Hallowe'en, Bonfire Night, Christmas. Bosh-bam-bom. I'm sorry, but that's just the way it is. There's no point moaning about it.

Ah, Crazy Frog! A personal hero of mine. I've finally got on top of this, so prepare for Friday, when I'll be putting ANOTHER Frog and Rabbit up for your pleasure. I've shown it to a couple of people, and they thought it was sexy. So there you go.

29th of August:

Heavens! The eighth month is almost over. Today I had a flash of enthusiasm and did two Frog and Rabbits, so hopefully I will be back on track soon. Lots of love, Stephen. x

Hello folks! I'm still one behind in August because of my cursed holiday. I'm going to try my damndest to catch it up this week... I hope we've seen the last of these mice for a while: they're just too evil...

Whoops! It appears that going on holiday doesn't fill a fellow with cartoon-drawing resolve, rather that he sits around in his metaphorical pants drinking metaphorical pena-coladas. Ah well. Better late than never this rather indifferent effort then. Perhaps next time will be more of a rip-roarer? Tune in and find out!

Hello all! I'm going on holiday on Friday and I wont be back till the 13th - which means I won't be able to update over this time. Have no fear though, I should be drawing them when I'm away and I'll do my best to stick them up ASAP when I get back... thanks for reading!

I'm cutting it a bit fine for my Tuesday deadline... I'm a slacker, I know. By the way: I'm going on holiday in a couple of weeks - I'll have to think about how to keep you Frog and Rabbit watchers happy. Watch this space...

Aha, shipmates! Here we are, in July. I hope everyone is doing okay. I am. It looks as though Tuesday has become the day of updating now. Not a bad thing. You need something to look forward to on a Tuesday, don't you? What else good happens then? As days go its basically a dead loss. By the way, if any of you want drawings done for a modest fee, I'd be more than happy to oblige. Did I say modest fee? I meant a pittance. A cream cracker. Email me. Please.
