Needful things
Here you can find a list of useful programs I have installed on my computer to make my life easier. If it will make your easier too, then I'm already happy.
Please note, I did not list here things as Firefox, Total Commander or Google talk... they are known by default by everyone ... I suppose...
(BTW, did you know, that Needful things is a book by Stephen King?)
I'm using this cool stuff for a few years. Its role is to transform your right mouse button into a fast (really FAST, much faster than the famous scroll wheel... this is why I like it) moving scroll device, you press and drag and here it goes, you scroll... Beside of this it can shrink unused windows, and has a lot of useful features too. I recommend it to everyone.
This handy tool makes you windows snap all the time you move them, just like Winamp's window snap to the edge or to others... I find it very useful.
This is a great replacement for the classical Windows Task Manager. It does all the dirty jobs task manager can do, but also has a lot of other features that make it really great.
Java anonymity and privacy makes it possible that you browse through the internet without leaving some visible trace behind you... I don't really care about this, but it works perfectly behind an NTLM firewall :) so it allows downloading stuff the nasty firewall denies :) (Not that I do this... it's just good to know things...)
The only Download Manager I have found out there which works behind the famous NTLM authentication firewall... Sometimes it consumes a lot of processor resources, just like now, but it works :)
