‘Friends of Water Polo’ has been launched with two initial objectives:-
1. To lobby for sufficient funding to enable competitive GB squads to participate in the men’s/women’s events in London 2012.
2. To put in place fund raising initiatives to provide continuity and certainty in the future funding of our sports development at every level.

What you can do to help!
§ Come up with fund raising ideas. We have had suggestions for a calendar and a yearbook encompassing every aspect of water polo in GB. Any localised initiatives are welcome and every £100 raised will make a difference.
§ Anyone with professional skills such as legal expertise, website designers, current trustees and skilled fund raisers are encouraged to make themselves known in the hope we can utilise their ability.
§ Make donations. Either as a one off or by direct debit. Bank details to follow
§ Help us produce a dedicated water polo directory
§ Sign the petition to Number 10 http://petitions.number10.gov.uk/WaterPolo2012/ The more signatories we have the better. Please ask anyone you know who is interested in the future of water polo to sign up as well.
§ Join Facebook site ‘Save water polo for 2012’ and tell your friends about it.
