In the last of the 'round robin' games GB drew with Portugal 6-6 (Portugal score is 1st, 0-1,0-2,3-1,3-2) and Italy beat Germany 13-1.
The GB Junior team played Italy in a thrilling final and beat Italy 9-8, winning the tournament. Well done to all the girls.
Day 1: The girls won their first game against Italy 11-5 (4-2, 0-2, 2-1, 5-0). Portugal lost to Germany 2-3, GB lead the tournament at this stage.
DAY 2: GB Juniors beat Germany 10-7 (2-2, 1-0, 3-1, 4-4). They are at the top of the table with 4 points. Portugal lost to Italy 8-4.
DAY 3: In the last of the 'round robin' games GB drew with Portugal 6-6 (Portugal 1st score 0-1,0-2,3-1,3-2) and Italy beat Germany 13-1 so GB progress to 1st/2nd play off
The GB Junior Women’s Team will be flying to Portugal on the 14th April 2009 to take part in the tenth International Water Polo Tournament of Felgueiras City 09. The tournament runs from the 15th-18th Apri
The team will be playing against Portugal, Germany and Italy.
