Frances and Judi raised a further £281 at the British Championships from the sale of "Save Water Polo for 2012" T Shirts and assorted swimming costumes.  We are gathering more Founder Members by the day, but we need more to get to our target of £100,000!

Simon Wright of GBSwimStars has donated photographs of the Mens Squad and will be holding another photoshoot in Manchester soon.  Click back here for news of how to purchase individual photos -all proceeds will of course go to the Fund. 

We are collecting items to auction at a later date and so far

Official Launch of Friends of Water Polo Fund Raising

Saturday 7^th February

Friends of Water Polo saw a very successful launch to its fundraising at the Manchester Aquatic Centre.

Dave K, Fran and Dave W took the opportunity to meet with the Women's and Men's Squads, Coaches and Staff.  We received a lot of feedback from the players and staff and we discussed how best we should use our Funds.  It seems that the funding of camps and competitions in the lead up to the Europeans for both squads is just as important as individual support. 

We were delighted with the offers of support and pledges of donations and help.  It will take a time to assimilate everything and we will keep you posted.

Pam and Eileen raffled some signed water polo balls and T-shirts which raised £211 for the Trust.  Thanks to all girls who helped to sell the tickets.  Ticket 989 was unclaimed, so please let me know if you have it.
