There are a numerous companies and community organisations in the Patricroft area.  Here are a few examples:
  • The Queens Arms Hotel - a historic, Grade II listed, public house (Punch Taverns) serving Boddingtons draught bitter, and winner of the 2010 North Manchester CAMRA Neil Richardson award given to "traditional, unspoilt locals, which play an important role in the community".
  • Nasmyth Business Park - providing an operating base for UPS deliveries and other local businesses.  Named after industrial entrepreneur James Nasmyth.
  • Nasmyth Steam Hammer - an important artifact of the industrial age, demonstrating the significant industrial heritage of the area.  This original Nasmyth Steam Hammer is now situated at the front of the Nasmyth Business Park, facing the former site of the Nasmyth foundry buildings at Patricroft.

  • Eccles Community Art Gallery (07981791475) is a not-for-profit Community Interest Group, located in Boothway, Eccles. It aims to present artwork/crafts from local artists and art clubs, and offers community tables for other local interest groups to promote their work or recruit new members.
