Volunteer gardening sessions are held on the third Sunday of every month, starting at 11:30 am and usually lasting for a couple of hours.

Volunteers can simply turn-up to get involved with gardening and general environmental improvements at the station, such as planting and maintaining vegetation.  The Friends of Patricroft Station aims to promote the installation and maintenance of attractive horticultural and environmental displays at the station.
