>Patricroft Station - a community station

Patricroft Station serves communities throughout the Eccles district...
Patricroft Station serves communities throughout the Eccles district, including the neighbouring areas of Patricroft, Monton, Winton, Barton, Eccles, Worsley, Peel Green and further afield.

The station is located on Green Lane, Eccles (M30 0GX) between Liverpool Road and Monton.

Patricroft Station today represents an opportunity to generate increased passenger usage, with an improvement to overall rail services and station facilities.

The station currently has fairly basic facilities - a simple, unstaffed, station with two open platforms serving Manchester-bound and Liverpool-bound trains.

Patricroft Station presents an exciting opportunity to develop simple, cost-effective, improvements for the users of the rail service; providing a mutual benefit to the local community and rail operator alike.

Large open spaces at the station present an opportunity to display extensive artwork and information, viewable to many regular commuters and users of this important rail transport link.
