Fund Raising Bike Ride  November 24th, 2007 

A memorial Bike Ride will be held in honor of Patrick McGill the morning of  Saturday, November 24th, 2007.  It will start and finish at the river park in the historic town of Knights Ferry.  Your ride will meander through scenic river frontage and peaceful rural landscapes.  You will see gorgeous equestrian estates, ride across the longest covered bridge this side of the Mississippi, and even catch a glimpse of some exotic animals.  The donation for the 20 mile ride is $20.00 (to commemorate Patrick's short 20 year life).  If you want more of a challenge, an alternate 35 mile route will also be available.   Learn more ride details                        Please show your appreciation by supporting our sponsors

All  proceeds will help to fund the Patrick McGill Renaissance Golden Eagle scholarship award at Modesto's Beyer High School, where Patrick graduated in 2005.      Learn more

Live out of the area but still want to ride?  You can contribute by planning your own memorial ride and sending your contribution to the address listed above.  Be sure to send pictures and a note.  We will pass them along to Melody, Patrick's Mom, for her memory book!

Registration and Check In

Signed registration and waiver forms can be mailed with your check to the address below. The first 50 riders to pre-register will receive 5 free raffle tickets.

Payment can also be made online at  Active.com   http://www.active.com/event_detail.cfm?event_id=1498813       (a small processing fee will be added).

Check in and same day registration begin at 8 am in Knights Ferry.  There is an additional charge for riders registered and lunches ordered the day of the event.

Tour Rules

1. All riders are required to wear helmets.
2. All riders must ride safely and obey the California Vehicle Code.
3. Riders should carry a spare tube, pump, patch it, water bottle, phone money and medical I.D.
4. Minors (under 18) must ride with an adult.  All riders under the age of 18 must carry a medical authorization signed by parent/legal guardian.
5. A Waiver must be signed for each rider (click on "Download Registration Forms" above).
