Teacher Man is his hilarious, touching, inspiring remembrance of those years of teaching--and learning. The evening consisted of readings from the book by the authorĀ and some performances by Hamilton Heights School students, and was held in the auditorium of the American Academy of Arts and Letters. The evening consisted of readings from the book by the author as well as notable Harlem actors and was held in a lovely Harlem brownstone. |
