Welcome to the Friends of BUSD Libraries web page. We are a committed cluster of folks who believe that school libraries are an important component of every student's intellectual, emotional and cultural development. We know that strong school libraries correlate to higher student achievement.

        We support the ongoing evolution of the library program of the Berkeley Unified School District to responsively meet our students' needs, and we advise the Planning and Oversight (P&O) Committee of the Berkeley Schools Excellence Project (BSEP) about the library program. We invite you to join us.
