L'HERITAGE IS USED IN PARTNERSHIP. THERE ARE FIVE PARTNERS WHO OWN AND USE ONE MONTH EACH.

Details of barge & of sale of June share of L'Heritage
L'Heritage is a converted Dutch fuel barge which has two sleeping cabins, a large main salon, a full galley with clothes washer plus a head compartment with shower (in separate shower stall). Length overall is 17 meters. Draft is 1.1 meters.
Main engine is a DAF 575 in a huge engine compartment. Mains power is provided by a diesel generator or by shore power.
DC power is provided by two large, independent battery banks which are charged from the main engine or from a separate battery charger.
DETAILS OF OFFER FOR SALE:
1. Price is £ 8500 (British pounds)-- or $14,000.00 (U.S. dollars) -- for the month of June. June is an ideal month--early June is cool and late June is warm (no extremes). The canals are not crowded as most children are still in school.
2. L'Heritage is a British registered vessel. Current L'Heritage partners are three British and two Americans.

We have cruised the canals of France each June for the past six years and are now ready to move on to other pursuits. We refer to our canal boating as "eating and drinking our way through France while enjoying the French countryside".
