Who? All the Scouts in Devon are invited to attend, although places are limited as the venue can only take a
limited number so get booked in quick. Where? Woodlands Theme Park in Dartmouth - see their website: www.woodlandspark.com
Scouts arrive on Friday evening with your personal kit and packed tea. We set up camp, have a supper and then a social time within our camp which involves meeting Scouts from all over Devon, learning new skills and trying out new activities.
Our fee (see our letter) covers the entry fee for Saturday and Sunday to the Woodlands Theme Park which normally would cost over £24 for two days at group rate, use of the Groups and Troops camping equipment, catering for Friday Supper, Breakfast and Lunch on Saturday and Sunday, and an evening meal on Saturday; plus supervision by a range of leaders and staff.
When? The Theme Park Camp runs from Friday 16th September until Sunday 18th September 2011.
How? This bit is easy. Fill in the slip on the below attachment and hand in your slip and £15 non-returnable
deposit by new deadline date of Wednesday 3rd August. Please make your cheques payable to "1st Fremington Air Scout Group". We have provisionally booked a minibus for transporting the Scouts to and from the venue and will depart
from our Fremington HQ. BIG Thanks go to Joe & Chloe's parents for offering to assist with catering, transporting equipment and/or putting up/taking down tents etc. We would like some more help please with putting tents up and down. Swift, Skip, Sarah, Kris, Lisa and possibly Daniel will be the Leadership Team for this camp.
Also huge thanks to the Barnstaple Rotary Club and the Devon Grassroots Grant for helping us buy equipment for this camp and our Hurdlestone Challenge Camps.
