Word Scout Jamboree 2011

are some pics of one of our Scouts (or rather Explorer now as he
applied when he was one of our Scouts 18 months or so ago) and the rest
of the Devon Contingent. They went to Copenhagen and then onto Sweden
for the World Scout Jamboree. After the WSJ they will be staying in
Amsterdam. It will be updated as we get photos sent to us. Just think it
could be you next time going!! We have an opportunity for you to take
part in an International Jamboree next year and the next World Scout
Jamboree is in 4 years - that is in Japan!!

The Devon Contingent is led by Kate Taylor, our North Devon District Explorer Leader and Commissioner. Georgia and Daniel were the only two selected from North Devon to go from many applications. Run 2 The Fun saw the Jambo team all together and kept us entertained throughout - especially with them being camped next to us.The video that they made (below) will be shown on a giant wall in Sweden for all to see.
