When you look at your insurance policy do you ever wonder what all those terms mean. Everyday people around the world are getting insurance and they don't know all of their capabilities with that insurance. Their is also different types of insurance terms that people really don't know. This site is designed to help define those terms. This site is here to help you so you can pick a plan that will be right for you. I have worked in the insurance business for some time now and have found that agents really don't care about their customers. I remembered looking at peoples policies and seeing that they were paying alot of money when they didn't have too. Their are an average of 17,000 car accidents a day. Now wouldn't it be nice to know that you are getting the right coverages and not paying for too much for those coverages. Now it is important to let you know that I am not an agent and I am not trying to sell insurance. I am trying to inform people on coverages so they wont get burned. What I am going to do is go over the coverages and then explain where you can save money. So lets take a look at some of the coverages. My advvice is when you go into your agents office ask them if you can see your states specifics. Did you know in some states their is no uninsured motorist coverage however the agents are still selling it to the customers. Collision Coverage: This is very simple and it is very understandable. Anytime you are driving your vehicle and you make contact with a person, another vehicle, or a fixed object it will fall under your collision coverage. Also if your vehicle is parked and someone hits it, it will also fall under your collision coverage. Comprehensive Coverage: Any time any falling objects hit your vehicle or you hit an animal it will be covered under your comprehensive coverage. Also anything like theft, vandalism, or partial theft will be covered. Anytime you blow your engine or transmission it will be covered. People always think you have to get in an accident to be covered by your insurance and it is not true. Rental Reimbursement: Just like the coverage says you get reimbursed if your vehicle goes into the shop and you need a rental. Property Damage Liability: This will kick in anytime it is your fault in an accident and the other person needs their property fixed. Bodily Injury Liability: This will kick in if it is your fault and the other peron(s) in the other vehicle was hurt in the accident and has medical bills.
