I've lived in Orange County since 1970 and love to roam & poke into the lesser known talents of this bustling collection of cities. This is an insight into places where you can take the family, you & your spouse or just you by yourself to catch your breath, relax & enjoy our other lesser known attractions that you maybe wont find in a guide book. We're not all about Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm, and outside of Orange County, Universal Studios, Magic Mountain, Marine Land or Lego Land etc. I will also try to keep you up to date on events, festivals, parades, exhibitions etc. - you get the picture so stay tuned & tune in to the good free, cheap & easy Orange County! I will also endeavor to point to eating places of the same qualities - the little places that never get a write-up but are well known to the locals. Costco Hot DogsReputably the best hot dogs in Orange County, the surroundings may lack "ambiance" but you get a superb hot dog for a great price! FatburgerNot really an O.C. creation - came here from L.A. - but they claim to be the best 'burger around and they are certainly one of the best but you can't beat the music, that's for sure! Must be doing something right as they've been around for over 50 years. Check web site for location. In-N-Out BurgersAnother local phenom, one of the best hamburgers around slathered with delicious, aromatic grilled onions although their french fries don't seem to come up to par with the 'burger. IKEA Furniture StoreUnbelievable but true - probably one of the best dining deals around! Breakfast, lunch and dinner - especially the breakfast. Wahoo's Fish Tacovarious locations around O.C. - check the website. The name says it all and is one of the best.
