 There was never anyone named Fred who lived at Fredsville. The name is Danish for "peaceful rest" or "peaceful village." The congregation first came into existence March 12, 1871, when the people of this tiny Danish settlement gathered and organized for worship and service. In 2006 we will celebrate 135 years of ministry in Jesus' name, for we have been blessed with heritage, vision for the future, and peace in the present.
