Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities: - Designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements software programming applications.
- Responsible for high-level designs and technical requirements.
- Will contribute to component and product architectural designs.
- Participates in the unit testing, test case reviews, and certification of software.
- Conducts, participates in design/code reviews.
- Will interact with Business Analyst to ensure that specifications are satisfied.
- Offers improvements to maintenance problems, design limitation, product reliability and features for future product direction.

Minimum Requirements: - BS degree in Computer Science or related technical engineering degree, or equivalent industry experience required.
- 5+ years of application software development experience with emphasis on one or more of the following UI, Ajax, Extjs and GWT.
- Design and development experience in Java 2 Platform technologies (J2EE) and web application servers.
- Extensive object oriented analysis and design experience.
- Must possess exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must have development experience with: J2EE,SQL Server (fluent with SQL programming, Stored Procedures), JSP or Servlets, XML, HTML, JavaScript.
- Experience with both web client side and server side development.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized person, ability to juggle multiple priorities and parallel projects.
- Successful completion of a background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminial search, OFAC, and SS verification.
Preferred Requirements: - Experience with data-warehousing concepts and development a BIG plus.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas is an advantage: Weblogic, SQL DB triggers, AJAX, Web Services (Axis, SOAP), JFreeChart, Clear case/VSS, Ant , JUnit, Cognos reports, Flash, CSS , Applets, Hibernate, Spring, Struts , Oracle, C++. DirectX knowledge, Learning Protocols (AICC, SCORM, etc), Email SMTP, XSL, JAI (Java Advanced Imaging) and Java Sound.
- Has worked with and is familiar with J2EE design patterns.
