Buildings, Birds and Trees is a collection of twenty five paintings exploring the relationship between the built environment and our natural surroundings. Two years in the making, these paintings capture a range of surreal and slightly unusual scenes and images - fish swimming past buildings on Charles Street, birds watching a jazz band play in a jungle clearing and a neon treescape of Hyde Park to name a few. Birds, Buildings and Trees is showing at Kurb Gallery, 310 William Street, from February 12 to 18. The official opening will be held on Sunday February 13, from 4pm. Thanks to everyone that came to the exhibition, there are still some paintings left which I may exhibit at other galleries. Please let me know if there's a painting that you'd like to see on your wall! Thanks
