Home

Hi, and welcome to the Franklin Beekeepers Club, the home of beekeeping in Franklin.

We are a friendly bunch of country folk on the fringes of the Auckland Super City with an interest in beekeeping as a hobby and industry.

We have a strong focus on teaching the art of beekeeping and provide a welcoming environment for anyone interested in Beekeeping and the Bee.

Our monthly meetings start with a cup of tea, a chat and Q&A session. We then discuss 'what to do now' in the apiary and other topics of interest before heading out to the apiary for a practical session with the hives (weather permitting).

This is a great opportunity to get some hands-on practical experience, close up and personal with our bees. There are a number of bee suits available for those who need them.

New members and enquiries are always welcome.
