This Site is one of twelve collaborative efforts of the class of Techno Romanticism course offered at San Jose State University in the Spring of 2008. Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley’s text of Frankenstein 1818 edition is in the center of the discussion and so are the student writings that reflect the analysis of various themes found in the text and in her personal journals, letters and other works. It will also include connections to her contemporary writers from the Romantic Era and the general historical context of period.
