Community Scouting Program Links

t for funThis page is a work in progress, so changes are made as information is accumulated and time allows.  Suggestions for programs available in the Bay Lakes Council of BSA are welcome and should be sent to Tracey Koenig at heckrodtwetland.tk@tds.net.  There is no guarantee that suggested programs will be listed.

Many program opportunities are available for scouts that help them complete some or all of advancement requirements and sometimes just for fun..  This page collects the links to programs and organizations which offer scouting opportunities.  Each site operates independently and their policies and procedures apply to these programs.  Please contact each directly for registration, payment, and group restriction information.

Gathering Waters District Snowshoe Loan Program (cub and boy scouts only) - Gathering Waters District BSA has 13 pairs of snowshoes available for cub scout and boy scout leaders to borrow at no cost.  Snowshoes are managed by Heckrodt Wetland Reserve.  Contact Tracey Koenig at (920) 720=9349 or heckrodtwetland.tk@tds.net.  Reservations are required.  Snowshoe reservation form is available in attachments below:

Gordon Bubolz Nature Preserve, Appleton - February 25, 2012, 1-3 PM,  $6/person   Geocaching program on snowshoes.  Program information is available in attachments below.

Webelos Readyman - Red Cross BAT (Basic Aid Training) - sign up for scheduled courses or contact them to bring a session to you!
