Cub Scout/Boy Scout Programs (Fox Valley)

Fox Valley Scout Program Collaboration

The Fox Valley Scout Program Collaboration is a group of independent field trip providers that have developed programs to meet the achievement needs of cub scouts (Tigers, Wolves, Bears, and Webelos).  We have collaborated to provide a range of professionally-lead programs that give scouts of all levels an opportunity to earn awards in field trip settings throughout the Fox Valley (Appleton, Wisconsin and surrounding communities).  Please see the Girl Scout page for information about programming for that group.

All programs require pre-registration and prepayment.  Fee for each program is $5/scout, unless  otherwise noted in the brochure.  Siblings over age 6 may attend for $5/child, but they must be registered in advance.  These programs are not appropriate for children under age 6.  There are no refunds for cancellations, however substitutes are permitted.

Scouts must be accompanied by leaders and/or parent chaperones in the ratio recommended by the scout organization.  There is never a charge for these adults.  Leaders and chaperoning adults are responsible for the behavior of scouts and siblings in attendance with their group.  Leaders and chaperones are responsible for following safety guidelines established by their organization.

Maximum total attendance numbers for each program are established by each facility based on the space available.  Program maximum and minimum numbers are available from each facility.

Scouts should arrive dressed for the weather and ready to participate in fun, hands-on learning. Programs involve a combination of learn-at-your-pace stations and educator-lead activities.  Nature programs may include both indoor and outdoor activities. Programs will run regardless of the weather, with adaptations made to accommodate outdoor conditions, if applicable.
