--A Scarlet PI Side Story.
This is a story I wanted to write for some time now, and will also fill in a requirement of my Writer's Circle requirements by making this story an episodic story according to the challenges. It's basically a story of the relationship between Pippkin Ducaine and Melody Roberts as Pippkin had Melody's mother, Penny as his host. While Mother and Rabbit were temporarily bonded, Penny discovered some parts of Pippkin's (thankfully) deactivated Amusement Park Mode--the set of behaviors that control the costume's--and by that their mind-wiped wearers according to standard HFL procedures--actions and behaviors.
What especially caught her eye was a routine that comes into play whenever Pippkin takes in a girl. He then molds her through some fantasy setting--and with some methods some would call ethically wonky, remember that we're talking with a costume bunny that uses Hypnosis as a weapon--into a thief assistant to Pippkin, a sort of partner in crime, as it were. (And if that girl is older and in age, He'd probably have her as a lover as well, but that won't apply here.)
Under HFL's control, this routine would make the poor girl completely brainwashed into accepting Pippkin as her "Daddy," and be loyal to both him and HFL. But Penny would tweak this routine with the image of the perfect husband and father that is keeping Pippkin honest--not to mention the maternal feelings Pippkin would get from Penny--to give Melody her wish: That she would be a Magical Princess. With this routine, Pippkin would make Melody's wish come true.
This story will take Melody through Pippkin's loving care and guidance as she is transformed into "Magical Girl Melody-Chan," princess thief and founder of her own Magic Kingdom. She might not know the name of that kingdom right away, but it'll be destined to be a liberated Happy Fun Land with her friends, both current and future.
