State Report Timeline: NEW DEADLINE! January 18,2010 End of the quarter (Computer restraints)
1. Worksheet Notes are due on November 30, 2009.
2. Draft of your report is due on December 7, 2009.
3. Bibliography, Table of Contents, and Cover Page draft and Maps are due on December 14, 2009.
4. Final Written Report, Map, Bibliography, Table of Contents, and Cover Page are due on January 4, 2010.
5. Visuals (Map and other) and Presentations start on January 4, 2010.
Special Notes Completed work on time can earn up to 100 points Work completed early can earn up to 20 points. Final written report not completed by December 14, 2009, will lose up to 10 points per day.

Make it 3-Dimensional and include mountains, rivers, lakes, deserts, plains, etc. if applicable. Label places, such as name of state, capital, cities, lakes, rivers, mountains or mountain ranges, etc. Directions available in the classroom.
2. Write a biography of someone famous in your state and make a clay bust of that person.
3. Create a model of a special place in your state. Write a brief summary on a index card and place it by your model. Be Creative.
