Teacher ~ Sharon Leask Brooks
























 This is a picture of Mr. Brooks, Mrs. Brooks, and dog Minnie in Cannon Beach, Oregon.

    Mrs. Brooks adores the beach, coffee, and chocolate. She loves to beachcomb and collect things like agates, shells, and driftwood. Or have an old-fashioned picnic.
    Her husband is Lloyd. Children: Lloyd and family live in Worland, Wyoming, Dana and her daughter live in Tahlequah, OK., and Melissa and her family live in Tahlequah, OK.  Other grandchildren, Dylan Ruaro lives in Juneau, AK (Douglas) Tasha and Ariel Brooks live in Ashland Oregon. She visits her family and friends during the summer months.
    A favorite Dr. Seuss quote, “The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go.” She enjoys book stores like the Powell Book Store in Oregon, Barnes & Noble in cities, or Borders.
    She gets excited about sharing new books and ideas! This year she brought back a small pew for the reading area and put a saddle in the quiet area.
    Her summer classes inspire her!  This year her class was in San Antonio. Previous years in Portland, OR and San Francisco.
