Through out the year Room 4-1 will participate in many kinds of reading. This includes independent reading, partner reading, book clubs, readers' theater, and read aloud.
Author's write for many reasons. Some of following are:
To Entertain means to amuse someone.
To Inform means to give someone information
To Persuade means to try to convince someone to think the same way you do.
Me and Amylyn were writing shark facts. We had to pick the sharks we wanted to do research on. We had to get the name of the shark, it's teeth and find the size and what it eats.
