For one reason or another the Suburban kept getting hit by other vehicles. The last straw may have been while DW and I were sitting in the SUV in a parking lot before a soccer game. Something told us both that it was time.
In early October, 2011we visited a local GMC dealer on the suggestion of DS's soccer coach. We originally went just to "look" but we all know how that usually works out. The Denali pictured was an Internet special.

We always wanted a Tahoe before the Avalanche and now that we are pulling a bit more trailer in the Rockwood 8317SS it seemed like a good time to at least consider more GCWR. We searched pretty heavily for a couple of weeks without much luck locally. We have recently found a dealer who worked out a dealer swap for a truck we found weeks ago. The first dealer was not able/willing to swap out the two bucket seats in the third row for a 3 person bench.
