A word from the pastor of Christ’s Foundry The entrepreneurs listed on this flyer have organized their own independent businesses in order to provide for their families and to provide well-paying jobs for people in our community. As the pastor of Christ’s Foundry, I have been inspired by the desire of the persons of this community to work and by their professional skills. While Christ’s Foundry is independent of the Foundry’s Workers Association, your assistance of these workers helps our community, our families and our ministries. Christ’s Foundry is a mission of the United Methodist Church called to serve the spiritual and material needs of the immigrant community living just north of Love Field in Dallas, Texas. Our ministries include after-school tutoring programs, Thursday Evening Fiestas for children, youth group, soccer teams, children’s choir, bread distribution, adult education, English classes, as well as worship and Bible studies for all ages.
