The Foundation Señor San José offers a safe and nurturing home for at-risk and abandoned children located in La Paz, Honduras.

Started in 2006 by Sister Edith Suazo, the Foundation began as her personal response to the needs of those living in true poverty in her community. The first building they inhabited had no roof, doors, or plumbing when it was donated for their use.  Since then, however, the Foundation has grown, taking in more children and expanding it's impact by becoming a formal non-profit organization with community-wide, national, and international collaborators.
