We've missed several chances in the past few years to move America forward to better future for ourselves, our children, and our grandchildren.
1) After Katrina we didn't rebuild New Orleans as a showcase of renovated infrastructure or implement a badly needed new urban policy.
2) After 9/11 with the whole world watching and united behind us to get Bin Laden, we instead invaded Iraq.
3) The collapse of the economy in the Great Recession showed what ignoring Wall Street greed and the destructive alliance of Big Business and the Government against the People can bring.
