Monday, Nov. 1- Well, folks it's been an interesting and enjoyable campaign. I've met a lot of people and learned a lot about your
concerns and expectations for the future of the District, our State, and our Country. Now it's time to decide who you trust to move America forward. If you feel in your heart, I'm the man for the job - vote for me. If not - at least vote. It' going to take an enormous amount of effort, some patience, and some very dedicated elected officials to get the Country back on track!
Monday, October 25- Gary Kauther, annoyed by the refusal of his two opponents and their sponsors to face him in the major debates, has scheduled a protest in front of the Combined Media Debate venue in Wausau, on Tuesday, Oct. 26th. Many people in attendance at the recent Merrill Tea Party event suport Gary and plan to march with him in protest. The event will be held at UW-Marathon County Campus. If you would like to participate,be there by 6pm. Debate starts at 7pm. The Wausau city officials have approved the protest.
Tuesday, October 19 - Gary Kauther accepts the endorsement of GOP primary candidate, and past Obey opponent, Dan Mielke . Mr. Mielke's endorsement adds a strong boost to an increasingly viable campaign. The Kauther/Mielke alliance provides dis-affected Republicans a place to go. It also, gives dis-affected Democrat conservatives a clear chance to vote for a winning candidate.
Saturday, October 16 - The campaign recieved the endorsement of Dan Mielke, Duffy's opponent in the September primary election. Mr. Mielke tallied 168,000 votes for this seat in 2008 vs. Dave Obey. Details will be available as we release this breaking news to all 7th district print, radio and tv media. (click on Media L ist - on left)
