Gary's Biography
- Lifelong rural Wisconsin resident
- Gary and his five siblings grew up on a farm in Poplar, WI
- Member of the Northwestern High School 1978 graduating class
- Graduated with honors after attending WITC and UW Superior (1981)
- Has held positions as a farm laborer, nightclub manager, bartender, Wisconsin state grain inspector, Chicago NW Railroad section welder, and for seven years (1990-1997) Gary worked in the mining industry out of Duluth, MN
- In 1986 he joined the United States Air Force working as an aircraft mechanic
- Also in 1986, Gary married his wife of 24 years Theresa. They now have 3 children Jamie, Travis, and Tyler
- Gary became a small business owner in 1999 starting his own local garbage collection company, selling the routes to Waste Management in 2009.
- In 2006 Gary ran for State Senate against Bob Jauch
