Continuous Events:

Lunch Bunch: Every Thursday at 11:30a - Shanes Rib Shack, 1370 Buford Highway.

 

Saturday Morning Coffee: Every Saturday at 8:30a - Jittermugs Coffee Shop, 1 mile west of Downtown Cumming, on Highway 20 across from Ingles.

 

ARES Meeting: The 2nd Monday of each month - Cumming Police Station, 301 Veterans Memorial Blvd, Cumming GA 30040 at 7PM. (2 blocks south of courthouse) Map

 

Field Day:  Our biggest event every year is Field Day, held the 4th full weekend in June every year. During Field Day we test our emergency communications skills and train ourselves on how to be better at serving the community. We operate from the Cumming Fairgrounds, in the campground area, behind the Saw Mill.

December 8th will be the next ARES meeting. We'll be meeting in the Community building behind the Police Station for a pot luck style dinner. Please keep an eye on the yahoo list for more information on what to bring. Turkey and Ham will be supplied.

AMATEUR RADIO LICENSING COURSES - Technican / General 10/18

Once again, we'll be offering our technician and general licensing courses at the Cumming Police Station. Classes start Oct 18th!
We're a little late announcing this, so please let us know if you can make it!
