ARES Forsyth County Amateur Radio Emergency Service (ARES) is a group of dedicated Amateur Radio volunteers ("Hams") that provide emergency communications and spotter storm information to the US National Weather Service as a part of Forsyth County's and the state of Georgia's emergency services. When all else fails-- Amateur Radio remains strong ! We meet regularly two times a week, plus monthly meetings, and once a week on the air.
