Amy Forster Rothbart
I am currently a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Political Science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. My interests lie at the intersection of comparative politics and international relations. I also hold a Masters of International Public Affairs degree from UW-Madison with a concentration in environmental policy, and a Graduate Certificate in Russian, East European and Central Asian Studies. My dissertation explores the domestic politics of implementing international environmental commitments in the post-Soviet states, with a particular interest in the way international actors influence the relationship between states and citizens. My teaching experience and interests range across comparative politics, international relations and environmental policy. I have considerable experience as a TA and have also lectured my own introduction to comparative politics course. |
