Villa  de  Fontanella

It is located on  The North  slope of the  Calenella  Valley

Adriatic and Peschici in the distance

Villa de Fontanella in the lower right

Our property extends down across the Fontanella Creek (usually dry) from which its name is taken.

Located in the Gargano Promontory near the Forest de Umbra, just East of Vico del Gargano

The weather is mild. It is a quiet peaceful place where the sounds of birds break the silence.

A narrow single lane road winds its way down and around the olive tree covered slope to the Villa.

The Adriatic coastal towns and Vico del Gargano (a medieval town) are a short distance away.

Crowds are almost nonexistent and peace pervades Puglia.

We bought this villa, abandoned farm house, renovated it

to create a three unit Bed and Breakfast and home.

The villa was built on top of an old olive mill (trapetto).

We believe this is a wonderful place, ideal for a relaxing getaway vacation.
