Old Bones is currently in its first draft, sitting on the proverbial shelf. Written during my first NaNoWriMo, it is the beginning of an epic fantasy series following the lives of many characters in an as of yet unnamed world. Based on images gathered from Normandy Beach and the Paris Catacombs during my trips to the historic land of France, the first of three books in the story arc is feature complete at 50,000 words. This project, while having a story that is considered to be quite developed is in hiatus until the Eternal Bachelor feels the desire to lose his sanity in a vain attempt at editing. This project taught the less that creation is MUCH more fun than editing.
Unnamed short story collection on my dating history
If there is one thing the Eternal Bachelor is known for, it is, well, always being a bachelor. There are many and various reasons for this, most of which will be covered in this book. Currently outlined on the back of an airline napkin, there are a total of three paragraphs actually written.
'Geeks' for NaNo 2006 (Not really for NaNo)
In the early planning stages, this will be a book that spends a day inside a fictional store which sells comics, used books, CDs and DVDs and all types of gaming products. The inspiration for Geeks is two-fold: a store called 'Book and Music Exchange', where I spent way too much time during high school and a group of my college friends who introduced me to the card game Magic: The Gathering. I currently have a set of characters, some of whom even have names and a set of scenes I want to write. What I don't actually have yet is any kind of plot. No plot, No problem! Something will come to me eventually, I am sure.
