Neighbor Issues Related to Loud Noise or Parties
At the first sign of neighbor issues related to noise or loud parties we suggest providing the offending neighbor with the following document which outlines the FNA expectations for being a good neighbor: FNA Good Neighbors. Zoning, Land Use, or Nuisance Complaints
The City of Eugene's Building Permit Services Division oversees code compliance in the areas of building codes, rental housing standards, land use, zoning, and nuisance and business licenses. The City of Eugene "Seniors on Patrol" program offers a free home check service while you are away on vacation or business. To take advantage of this free service you will need to complete a Vacation Check Application and return it to the address or fax number as listed on the form at least one week prior to the start date of your trip. You can call 682-8845 or the West University Public Safety Station at 682-5642 with any questions you may have about the form or the program.Even if you do not take advantage of this service you may want to review page 2 of the application for tips on keeping your home safe and minimizing the chances of an unpleasant homecoming.
To Report Abandoned Vehicles on City Streets
Call Parking Enforcement at 682-5713. City code says vehicles can not be parked on the street in the same spot for more than 72 hours. When reporting a vehicle that you believe has been stored or abandoned on a city street for more than 72 hours you will be required to provide your name, phone number (parking enforcement does not respond to anonymous calls), license plate number, vehicle description and exact location.
To Report Illegal Camping on Streets, in Parks, or in Alleys
Call Eugene Police Department's non-emergency number at 682-5111. You will be asked to provide a location, vehicle description, license plate number if known, and any other pertinent information.
