Flying Sparks offers an electrical planned preventative maintenance service based on the clients requirements and assets. Operating a PPM service is proven to extend equipment life expectancy, maximising its potential and reducing the cost of replacement parts and labour on a reactive basis.

After an initial survey of the site and the customer’s needs, a comprehensive system will be designed. Common PPM practices range from:

·       Cleaning and servicing of all auxiliary equipment (fans, hand dryers air ventilation etc)

·       Pre- electrical test on switch gear and fuse boards.

·       Fire alarm testing.

·       Emergency light testing.

·       PAT testing.

·       Cleaning and servicing of electric heating.

·       Visual inspection on electrical equipment and cables.

All work is carried out in a clean and efficient manner to proactively minimize the necessity for reactive works.
