The Seven (7) Fold is one of the best known Flowform design and was originally created by John Wilkes of Emerson College, Sussex with Hansjorg Palm.

As a complete cascade it is over 3 metres long and stands 1.5 metres high. The largest form is over 1.5 metres wide

As you expect it requires a large volume of water, 60 litres per minute, to function and so is only really suitable for larger gardens or for public settings. However smaller cascades may be created from the separate forms and the most popular is the first (top) 4 forms.

The water motion is very special as the sequence creates very fast and vigorous pulse within the smaller forms but then turns to a gentle and relaxing motion within the large, broader form.


Flowforms are cast in frost proof granite.
Grey-Green or red Granite are standard colour options.
Special colours or finishes will be considered on request.
New designs may be commissioned for specific needs.
