Recent work by Dr. Jacque Benveniste (3) has provided statistically significant evidence of the ability of pure water to carry "signals" capable of influencing life processes. This ability of water forms the basis of homeopathic medicine. Dr. Benveniste has shown that these "signals" may be conveyed either by traditional potentization techniques of dilution and succussion or by means of electrical currents and fields. The Biodynamic method of organic agriculture makes use of preparations potentized using the vortex. These are sprayed at particular times and in particular ways to strengthen individual crops and the overall life of a farm or garden. Flowforms have also been shown to be effective in potentizing these preparations. Pond and wetland systems have been used for 20 years in the purification of polluted water. The incorporation of Flowforms into a pond and wetland ecology both strengthens the ecology and directly assists the aerobic bacterial breakdown of organic matter.

The forms and the water movements can help create a harmonious and therapeutic environment around medical establishments. In an educational setting they can create an interactive feature and a gentle enlivening mood. There are potentially many other uses of Flowforms in supporting life processes; these are being researched by A John Wilkes and others of the Flow Design Research Group based at Emerson College in Sussex. This approach to water owes much to the scientific work of J. W. Von Goethe, Dr. Rudolf Steiner and more recently George Adams and Theodor Schwenk (4).
