Welcome to my webpage! I am a Professor of Economics (Professeur des Univesités) at Université Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne, Associate Professor at the Paris School of Economics and and Research Affiliate of the CEPR (Centre for Economic Policy Research), London. I moved to Paris joining the HEC Paris Business School in Sept. 2007 after having held a three-year Prize Research Fellowship at Oxford University (Nuffield College), and a Visiting Fellow position at the National Bureau of Economic Research in Cambridge, MA. I got my PhD at the European University Institute in Florence in 2004, and my thesis received the Rotary Europa Prize for the best thesis defended in the 2003-2007 interval. I have also visited the University of California at Berkeley, the Centre for Economic Performance at the London School of Economics, the European Central Bank and the Bank of England.
