 Central Florida 1st Annual Childhood Stroke Awareness Walk 

 

Saturday May 2, 2009

Red Bug Lake Park

3600 Red Bug Lake Rd, Casselberry, Florida

Registration 8:00am

Walk begins 8:30am

 

The walk is approximately 1 mile around the perimeter of Red Bug Lake Park and is appropriate for children and strollers.

Two water tables will be available along the walk and at the end of the walk.

 

 

    Registration is a requested donation of $10 per person. T-shirts will be provided for each registration paid. All participants will be required

         to sign a waiver (see example attached). 

 

   Registration donations that are received PRIOR to April 30th:

 

        1. please indicate shirt size with your registration payment: current choices are Child S (4-6), Child M (8-10), Adult S, Adult M, Adult L, Adult XL, Adult XXL 

 

        2. please go to the PREPAID registration desk at the walk and pick up your t-shirt.  

 

   Registrations on the day of the walk, we cannot guarantee exact size, but we will make every effort to have a range of sizes available.

Our main goals are to bring awareness about Childhood Stroke to the public, hope to the families of those affected by Childhood Stroke and help raise funds for pediatric stroke research. We hope you can join us!

*this walk is not sponsored by CHASA, it has been started by mothers and childhood stroke survivors whose lives were changed by the work that CHASA does and wants to give back by generating awareness and help raising funds!
