Hello and welcome to my home page. I am currently a PhD student at the Federal University of Minas Gerais in the Post-Graduate Program in Computer Science spending most of my time at the Video On Demand Laboratory (VOD). My supervisor is Prof. Jussara Marques de Almeida. I am interested in research involving systems analysis and modeling. More specifically, on online social and complex networks systems, information retrieval (IR) and user characterization. I received a Master's degree at this same instituition researching on social tagging (i.e. folksonomies) and IR.

From March 2005 to February 2008 I was a research assistant at the Distributed Systems Laboratory (LSD), located in the Federal University of Campina Grande. While at LSD, I worked in many distinct projects focused on distributed systems (OurGrid specificaly) including: Cloud and Grid Computing, Business Driven IT Management (BDIM); Grid Security; Distributed Programming and Middleware Programming.
